Inbound
The job taken down conversationally, then qualified.
Line · marketplace
A trade's problem is not a shortage of enquiries — it is that the enquiry arrives half-described, at the wrong hour, from someone who may not be ready. Sophia takes the job down in a conversation, qualifies it, and puts it in front of the pro who actually wants that work.

01 · What runs on this line
These are not separate products you assemble. They are the parts of one operation, and each one links to the same page whichever line you arrived from.

Qualified demand routed to the pro who wants it.
02 · Watch it run
Painting is the worked example because it is the trade the intake was built and scripted for first. The questions below are quoted from the live intake script rather than written for this page.
A worked example — a painting job, filed by the client Worked example
Not a form. Sophia runs the intake as a conversation on the channel the client actually used, and discloses the recording before anything else happens.
She asks for what is still missing rather than marching through a script, and takes approximate answers where approximate is genuinely enough — bands, not exact square footage.
A job that is not serviceable, or not real, does not become a contractor's problem. This is the same qualification step every other line on this site describes.
Enough for a pro to judge whether the work suits them — scope, size band, timeline and area — and not yet the client's contact details.
A flat unlock fee reveals the contact, and the first lead is free. When a price is agreed, a success fee is netted from the client's booking deposit rather than invoiced separately.
Sophia · opening the call
“Quick heads up before we start: this call is recorded so we can match you with the right painter. If you would rather not be recorded, just say so and I will take your details without recording.”
Disclosed on every call
The client
“It’s the whole downstairs, four rooms, and I’d like the outside done too if it isn’t mad. Sometime next month.”
Sophia · asking for what is missing
“Roughly how big is the space? Under fifteen hundred square feet, fifteen hundred to twenty-five hundred, twenty-five hundred to five thousand, or over five thousand?”
Bands, not exact figures — callers rarely know their square footage, and the estimate does not need it.

The contractor board
A teaser is published: scope, size band, timeline and area. The client’s name, address and number are not in it.
Qualified · contact withheld
A painter
Unlocks the full record and calls the client directly. The first lead is free.
Contact released · the job is theirs to win
A pro is on the other end, not an algorithm. Sophia takes the job down and qualifies it; the painter decides whether to take it, quotes it, and owns the relationship from the first call.
A worked example of a shipped intake flow — Sophia’s questions above are quoted from the live intake script. The client-facing marketplace is not open yet, so nothing here invites a client to file a job. The one thing that is open today is the other side of it: painters can apply to the founding group.
03 · The two sides
One side of this marketplace is open for business today and the other is not. Rather than average that into a single vague message, each side gets its own page and its own honest status.
For painters
The terms, how a job reaches you, and what joining provisions. The application behind it is live in production now and genuinely accepts painters.
For clients
The conversation, the ten questions, and what you are protected by — written out in full so it can be judged before it opens. There is no working “file a job” control on it, because that surface is not live.
Nothing on this site invites a client to file a job, because that surface is not live and we are not going to put a control in front of you that does not go anywhere. The client page above explains how it will work; it does not pretend to accept anything. When the door opens, it opens there.
What is open today is the other side of it: painters can apply to the founding group now, and that page is live. Apply as a founding painter

Three lines, four capabilities, one operation underneath all of it. The gaps are boundaries we hold to, not features on their way.
One operation, three ways to buy it
A person whose name arrives somewhere before they do.
Companies whose inbound arrives faster than a front desk can work it.
Trades where the work is real but the demand arrives unqualified.
Every approach answered, whatever channel it came in on.
Inbound runs on the Personal line.Customers, on every channel, answered on arrival.
Inbound runs on the Business line. The job taken down conversationally, then qualified.
Inbound runs on the Marketplace line. The personal line does no selling and no lead generation.
Sales Support does not run on the Personal line. The follow-through around your reps.
Sales Support runs on the Business line.Qualified demand routed to the pro who wants it.
Sales Support runs on the Marketplace line. The gate: screened against a bar you wrote yourself.
Executive Support runs on the Personal line.A desk in front of a leader's inbound.
Executive Support runs on the Business line.No leader's gate in a marketplace.
Executive Support does not run on the Marketplace line.A door another company's agent can address you through.
Agent-to-Agent runs on the Personal line.An authenticated door for machine approaches.
Agent-to-Agent runs on the Business line. Not built for this line.
Agent-to-Agent does not run on the Marketplace line. The blanks are boundaries, not a roadmap. The personal line does no selling because that is a rule the product enforces, and a marketplace has no leader’s gate to run. Neither is a feature waiting to arrive.
Read across a row and one capability is running on every line that has it — the same rules engine, the same four outcomes, the same human as the hard stop. Read down a column and you have what a single line gets. It is one Sophia either way.
The rules change. The machinery does not.
05 · Before anyone discusses terms
Everything else here opens on a conversation. This does not. It is the first piece of real work rather than a brochure — the current position, written down, so the conversation afterwards starts from a shared set of facts instead of a pitch.
The assessment models what the front office is costing in your industry, layer by layer, and sets out the order it would be put right in.
