What JOOLT Does NOT Do

Honest list so prospects know our boundaries. Sophia uses this to avoid promising things we don't deliver.

We do not replace your existing CRM

Sophia is a complete operations layer (which we manage on your behalf). If you already have a CRM you love, we don't replace it — but direct integration with a non-standard CRM is custom work, scoped per engagement. Most clients run their service business entirely from JOOLT's dashboard and don't need a separate CRM.

We connect a live transfer; we do not take it back

Sophia can transfer a live call to you or your team: the caller stays on the line, and whoever picks up hears a short announcement first. If nobody answers, the call goes to that line's own voicemail — Sophia does not take the call back. Where no transfer is set up, she takes the details and alerts you in your dashboard and by email, and by text from your Sophia line when you have one.

We do not do on-site visits except on the largest engagements

For most engagements, all setup and ongoing work happens remotely (Zoom, email, dashboard). On-site or virtual staff training is part of the largest, custom engagements, at our discretion.

Custom code integrations are scoped, not standard

Out-of-the-box integrations are the standard Sophia set (Calendar, Contacts, Pipelines) and the tools your dashboard's Connections page lists as available. Custom integrations to your specific tool are custom work — scoped and quoted by complexity, not available self-serve.

We do not guarantee specific phone numbers

We provision US phone numbers based on availability in your area code. If you want a specific vanity number, we'll try, but cannot guarantee. We also don't guarantee porting timelines (carrier-controlled, typically 7–14 days).

We do not process payments

Sophia can send your customers a Stripe payment link inside a conversation when you've connected your own Stripe account. We do not hold funds, store card data, process credit cards directly, or operate as a Stripe Connect platform on your behalf. Your Stripe account stays yours; payouts go straight to the bank account you set up with Stripe.

We do not offer signed BAAs on standard engagements

For med spa and legal niches, we use industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit, but signed Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) are not part of a standard engagement. We're working on broader BAA support — if you need HIPAA today, ask the team about a custom engagement.

We do not white-label on standard engagements

On standard engagements, Sophia identifies herself as "Sophia at [your business name]" — we don't change the agent's name to your brand or hide the JOOLT relationship. Full white-label (Sophia renamed, your own domain, no JOOLT branding visible to your customers) is part of the largest, custom engagements.

We do not do cold outbound sales for you

Sophia answers your phone, replies to inbound, books appointments, and recovers missed calls. She does not cold-call your prospects, send unsolicited cold emails, or run paid ad campaigns. The Local Lead Engine (separate JOOLT product line) does prospecting research but doesn't make the cold contact for you.

We do not provide legal, medical, or financial advice

Sophia is trained on hard guardrails to refuse off-topic requests. For legalintake, medspa, and tax_insurance niches, Sophia uses verbatim compliance disclaimers ("I'm not a lawyer / doctor / CPA — please consult a licensed professional") that we cannot remove.
